To our Sponsor and Friends in the U.S.

The Director, School Management and the entire Staff of Nyamabuga Nursery and Primary School expresses our gratitude for your contribution and endless support towards the well being of Nyamabuga Foundation Schools. The Teacher and Support staff have been getting their monthly salary on time. This arrangement has been of great help such that the Director Emmanuel does not get stressed while trying to finish up with other organization activities.

We are grateful to Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Skinner and their team who traveled this year, representing you our dear sponsors, by promoting NEEPUganda. You can read about what was accomplished by Sister Teresa and two other sisters, Cora and Pauline, during their September 2016 visit while at Nyamabuga school on the NEEPUganda website.

NEEPUganda, under the Directorate of Emmanuel Mwesigye, has moved forward since the year began until now. Much has been put in place in terms of education, promotion and other improvements regarding all areas of the project.

Achievement for Year End Report
What has been accomplished at the school campus is as follows:

  1. The Maize Mill cob remover was purchased.
  2. The Maize Mill Machine was purchased.
  3. Staff and Guest Washrooms: missing steel doors and tiles were fixed.
  4. Kitchen Firewood shelter was constructed.
  5. The school did not have a photocopy machine: one was purchased (donated by Hope Builders)
  6. Pit Latrines and Boys Bathrooms are under construction.
  7. Educative Diagrams for all levels were drawn on the main block of the school walls.

We are grateful for the Tractor! After the purchase of the disks it served very well throughout the two planting seasons. Maize and beans were grown in plenty and the children were able to eat of it in time. What a blessing!

The Primary Seven pupils that completed their examination successfully were 42 in number. Results will be released mid January 2017. mill-2-optimized

Constraints faced by NEEPUganda

The Secondary building structure is not yet completed. Our prayer is to trust God, as He is a good Lord, to bless us with Donors and Sponsors to help us put up the first phase or complete the whole structure. This will help keep the building from depreciating due to unfinished work.

Conclusion:

We are determined to carry on, though faced with challenges while running the school. God said He knows the plans He has for us! “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope. Then you will call upon Me and go and pray to Me, and I will listen to you. And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart.” (Jeremiah 29:11-13)

May God bless our family, friends and sponsors for all the assistance given to us. We have reached this far because of your generous prayers and financial support.

Thank you very much.

God Bless You!

Emmanuel Mwesigye and Clare M. Businge
