Hello family!

Happy November! Remember last week when we shared with you about the Secondary School Building that had been started? Well, we are excited to share with you the latest update from Sister Gertrude! She has sent some pictures and new details. Take a look!

“Here below are pictures of the Secondary Site and the work which is going on. All the services which you see on going were funded by a team of  friends who visited us in March led by Sis Alisa Albers through HOPE BUILDERS Organisation. Using the funds they have been collecting since March, to date we purchased:

  • A reconditioned Dump Truck,
  • We carried on grading/ bull dozing the site,
  • We prepared the foundation which is almost ready and
  • We have stocked some  building Materials e.g Cement, Steel bars

Groundbreaking Ceremony and Prayer with Secondary Students.

We broke the ground with some members of the Secondary Students. We prayed instead of the traditional breaking ground. Now we have a debt of 3k to finish up paying the work of the Electrical Engineer, Structural Engineer and Mechanical Engineer for the work they did on the main Plan, otherwise the work is going on as we are waiting for the Lord’s provision. We thank you all for your support by consistently sponsoring our kids and your kind offers.  We pledge to be good stewards and  use whatever you give us honestly and give accountability to you at the end.  We ask for your prayers for funds at least to finish one wing by early next year as the old timber classrooms are in shambles.

I remain yours,
