At Nyamabuga we don’t just hand out help — we build things that keep giving. From a new secondary school to a working grain mill and a productive farm, every project makes our schools more self-reliant and lifts families out of poverty.
What we’re building
Three projects, one mission
Each project follows the same belief that shapes everything we do: “Better to equip the person in need with a fishing pole than to give them a fish.”

In progress · Phase One
Secondary School Building
Our primary graduates were leaving for neighbouring schools that don’t share our Christian leadership emphasis. So we began building a secondary school of our own — foundations, pillars, timber frame and roofing are already up. Phase One needs to be finished, then furnished with desks, doors and furniture.

The Grain Mill
“It’s here! The Mill is here and fully functional!” Our grain mill turns maize into the corn porridge that fuels children through the school day — and because the nearest mill is ten miles away, it also serves the whole community and earns income for the school.

Farm & School Garden
A variety of vegetables, beans and fruit help offset the cost of healthy meals, while cattle, goats and pigs add food and income. Best of all, the children take part in the harvest — so they leave with a full stomach and real, lifelong skills.
