Update From Kampala, Uganda

Dear Friends and Family,

I am writing to you from Kampala, Uganda. It is with deep sorrow and a heavy heart that we say goodbye to an amazing warrior. Gertrude Kabatalemwa has gone to be with the lover of her soul last night. She leaves behind not only her children Claire, Emmanuel, Robert, Peter and her grandchildren, but the hundreds of children she was entrusted to care for. Sister Gertrude also leaves behind a legacy of integrity, His love and a passion to see His Kingdom furthered in Uganda. Although she is now with the great cloud of witnesses, we are committed to continuing the work that has been started. Her funeral will be Sunday afternoon, April 26. For those wanting to give during this time, you can donate via the donate link on our website, or you can click here. The family appreciates your prayers at this time.

    Dear people,

Such a shock to hear of the sudden death of Getrude.
May her soul rest in eternal peace and I want to wish all the people she leaves behind a lot of strength to carry this loss and to continue her work.
