Praying Friends of Sister Gertrude,

We have received word from Uganda that our precious Sister Gertrude is in the hospital in Kampala in critical condition in a diabetic coma.  We are calling on all of her supporters to join with us in praying for her complete healing.  The next 12-48 hours are critical and we will send out an update when we get news.

We are also praying that the Lord provides the finances to cover her hospital stay.  Intensive care is $500/day. Donations may be made to the general fund for NEEPUGANDA

Please pray fervently for her healing.  Below are a few scriptures that we can pray together over her.

In Him,

Alisa Albers

Thank you for Your word Lord, that says, “Because he loves me,” says the LORD, “I will rescue her; I will protect her, for he acknowledges my name. He will call upon me, and I will answer her; I will be with her in trouble, I will deliver her and honor her. (Ps 91:14-15 NIV)

The Lord is faithful, and he will strengthen and protect Sis Gertrude from the evil one. (2 Thess 3:3 NIV)

The eternal God is Sis Gertrude’s refuge, and underneath are the everlasting arms. He will drive out Sis Gertrude’s enemy before her/her/me, saying, ‘Destroy him!’  (Deut 33:27 NIV)

I will call on God, and the LORD will rescue me.  Morning, noon, and night I plead aloud in my distress, and the LORD hears my voice. He rescues me and keeps me safe from the battle waged against me, even though many still oppose me. (Ps 55:16-18 NLT)

“I am with you to rescue and save you,” declares the LORD. “I will save you from the hands of the wicked and redeem you from the grasp of the cruel.” (Jer 15:20-21 NIV)

Who can snatch the plunder of war from the hands of a warrior? Who can demand that a tyrant let his captives go? But the LORD says, “The captives of warriors will be released, and the plunder of tyrants will be retrieved. For I will fight those who fight you, and I will save your children. (Isa 49:24-25 NLT)

Lord, thank you for Your word that says when Sis Gertrude passes through the waters, You will be with her; and when Sis Gertrude passes through the rivers, they will not sweep over her. When Sis Gertrude walks through the fire, she will not be burned; the flames will not set her ablaze. (Isa 43:2 NIV)

My Redeemer is strong; the LORD Almighty is His name. He will vigorously defend Sis Gertrude’s cause so that He may bring rest to her/his/my land. (Jer 50:34 NIV)

I pray that Sis Gertrude will not be afraid of the enemy, for the LORD my God himself will fight for her/him/me. (Deut 3:22 NIV)

May Sis Gertrude be strong and courageous, Lord, for Your word says, “Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the LORD your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you.” (Deut 31:6 NIV)

I will not be afraid or discouraged because of this vast army. For the battle is not mine, but God’s. (2 Chron 20:15 NIV)

Thank you for Your word Lord, that says, “Because she loves me,” says the LORD, “I will rescue her; I will protect her, for she acknowledges my name. She will call upon me, and I will answer her; I will be with her in trouble, I will deliver her and honor her. (Ps 91:14-15 NIV)

For I am the LORD, your God, who takes hold of your right hand and says to you, Do not fear; I will help you. (Isa 41:13 NIV)

I say to Sis Gertrude’s fearful heart, “Be strong, do not fear; your God will come, he will come with vengeance; with divine retribution he will come to save you.”  (Isa 35:4 NIV)

…He will give His angels [especial] charge over you to accompany and defend and preserve you in all your ways [of obedience and service].  (Ps 91:11 AMP)

When you speak God’s word, it sets His angels to work on your behalf. Bless the LORD, you His angels, Mighty in strength, who perform His word, obeying the voice of His word! Ps 103:20 (NASB)

Your angels, O Lord, encamp around Sis Gertrude and rescue Sis Gertrude because Sis Gertrude fears You. (Ps 34:7)

Father, I pray that those who seek Sis Gertrude ‘s life will be disgraced and put to shame; may those who plot Sis Gertrude ‘s ruin be turned back in dismay. May they be like chaff before the wind, with the angel of the LORD driving them away; may their path be dark and slippery, with the angel of the LORD pursuing them. Since they hid their net for Sis Gertrude without cause and without cause dug a pit for Sis Gertrude, may ruin overtake them by surprise, may the net they hid entangle them, may they fall into the pit, to their ruin.  (Ps 35:4-8)
