Hundreds of us are praying in unity for Sister Gertrude.

Psalm 133 “Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity!

…for there the Lord commanded the blessing, even life for evermore.”

Gertrude Kabatalemwa – whose name means belonging to those who cannot be defeated.

I just got off the phone with Gertrude’s daughter Clare. I called her this morning around 8:30AM PST which is 6:30PM Uganda time. Clare  is visiting Sister Gertrude as I write this Blog. The most recent news is that the diabetes is  contained. Clare said that Sister Gertrude’s kidneys are fine. Can we stop for just a minute and thank God for His Faithfulness to answer our prayers so far?

The major concern now is that the doctors are trying to stabilize her blood pressure. They need to find out why it is so high so that they can do this.

We will continue to keep you updated.

Clare and the family thank you for your prayers and support.

Here is an update from Alisa:

I just heard from Clare.  She is going morning, afternoon and evening to see Sister Gertrude but is only given 10 minutes to visit her in the ICU.  Friends of Dennis Eenigenburg and Kirk Watson who are pastors there in Kampala went to the hospital but were not allowed to see Sis Gertrude.  They prayed over her from the parking lot.

This is the latest update that I received from Clare.

“I was there in the morning she can see listen to what you are telling her and nods her head but can not answer because of the feeding tube.”

I do not know if she is still on a ventilator as well since I am not in the medical field.  I’m assuming that she is if she has a feeding tube.

Dennis will be able to check on her tomorrow when he returns from the village with Emma and I am hoping that Dennis can speak to the doctor to give us a bit more information.

Please keep praying!  I believe the Sister Gertrude will have a great testimony of God healing her and rescuing her yet again.  Stand in faith with me praying and believing in her healing.

Thank you all,

Alisa
